Parking near harriman

Any suggestions where I might be able to park a car for about 3 weeks near Harriman state park?

What time of year are you planning on leaving your car? If it is during the summer I can help right now I am in Colorado at school. If not I still might be able to find someone that will let you leave your car for 3 weeks. Trailboss you going north or south.

Actually I am leaving Mid-may, right after Trail Days, hiking north from Harriman to Manchester VT (my LAST section and I will be a 2000-miler!). As far as I know there are no hostels or shuttles in that area. My other thought was to leave car at Bear Mountain Inn, but they have not answered my email and I haven’t called them yet.

hey trailboss!
it just so happens my dad is joining me for a few days in harriman for part of the completion of my 1,000 mile hike in may.he got permission from the bear mtn post office to park his car.i’m not sure if they are okay long term…worth a try?

Chica, I live there too!! Well I work there and live in Barnardsville. We should talk, but I guess you’ll be hiking soon. I like your journal.
