Help! I want to section hike from Iron Mountain Gap TN to US58-Summit Cut, VA… and will start in the next day or so. my books tell me nothing about parking, and i’d like to end up 15 or 20 miles north of Damascus. does anyone have any info?

You may have seen this, but there is a parking area listed on the map just one mile east at VA 601. I section hiked this last year, but I don’t remember the parking area.

there is an abandoned house on a gravel road (which is VA601). there is a little parking lot right across from the road. 601 is off of 58.
