Im wondering if anyone knows if its safe to leave a car at rt 73 brandon gap trail head for about 1 week.
dont realy know the area much, i stopped my hike there last yr and am starting there again this yr, but my freind is only hiking for 1 week, i need a place to park the car safely,
or does anyone know where we can leave the car?

Brandon Gap not bad, but, I would discourage you from leaving it that long. Locals like to party in the GMNF area off Bingo Road which is about 4 miles from the trailhead. You would be better off leaving your car in Rochester or at the Rochester Ranger station, about 10 miles from the trailhead. Or, into Brandon itself, also about 10 miles from trailhead.
