Arrived in Tucson from Catalina Highway /Camp Molino.
Passage 4 water sources were all running or present. (3/25) Nice clear stream running right after the AZT sign at mile 6.2 and in several following wash xings. Small flow at Anaconda Springs and clear flow in a wash 0.2 mi later. Small but clear flow at the cement dam. Big Casa Blanca canyon flowing bigtime before and after spring. Bear Spring full, clear and running. Seasonal stream running nicely. Water running in wash at end of Passage 4.
Passage 5 (3/26)
Kentucky Camp, camel up as they say.
Stock pond- some standing water there, looked ok
Passage 6 (3/27)(I’m using the guidebook passages not the online ATA passages)
Water in Mulberry and larger Twin Tank, none in Blacktail tank. Small flow in Papago Canyon.
Passage 7 (3/28)
Cienagas Creek has a strong flow. Colossal Creek water is great (for a stealth treat, check out the round tank and faucet behind the stone building seen from the trail above the first picnic area, great bath!). Water running well and clear in Rincon Creek.
Passage 9 (3/29)
Chiminea Creek running well at Madrona Ranger Station and all the way up the mountain (waterfall visible at one point). Water running well at Grass Shack and Manning camps. Faucet was off at Manning but the creek is behind the ranger station. Italian Spring kind of feeble and manky, but small streams afterward and at 17.2 are flowing nicely.
(3/30) Very nice stream flowing at Italian Spring TH.
Passage 10 (3/30)
The Lake has water if you want it. The stream is wide but flow is slow and algal. West Spring tank is half full, the trough is clear and full.
Hope this info helps and see you out there, at least in spirit,
