I’m looking for PCT section Maps that are like the AT section maps. Is there anything like that for the PCT. If not do hikers use just the books for the hike?

The majority of PCT thru-hikers carry the Guidebook pages. The three PCT guidebooks are really good. In addition to the maps, you get good text description for the entire trail and many alternates. And they’re not very expensive. All three books will run you about $75 total.

I wouldn’t consider hiking without the Guidebooks.

There are some maps on CD, I haven’t used those. The Guidebook maps are good, and they’re already printed on paper. You don’t have to print the Guidebook maps from a CD.
