Thats it. Im going to bring a video camera with me on my hike in two years.
Amazing how 5 minutes of video can show how life on the trail can be, better then most written journals out there.
Im really looking forwared to the next one.

Can’t open it, guys. I get sound and no vid. Error box says my Quick Time Player is missing something, it doesn’t say what, and the Quick Time server doesn’t have the needed software. Any tips?

I did video in my short section hike journal last year. I like video much better than still pictures. My camera stored it on compact flash. I was surprised at the amount of video I could store on several 1gb cards.

Use a program called VLC.
There is nothing it can’t play.
Its free too. And no spyware!

Thanks LK. I tried that one too and it won’t run. I may have something whacked or its my multiple fire walls running. I have sensitive stuff on my rig.
