Last I heard, there’s still plenty of room in the hostel and the campground. Everyone is welcome, old hikers, new hikers, wannabee hikers, friends and family of hikers. It’s always a stimulating and fun event, right at the midpoint of the AT. Earl Shaffer usually attended the Ruck before his death. His brother, John Shaffer, is planning to attend this one.
