Pipe in tree ga/nc

									I've wondered about the pipe on the tree at the GA/NC border since I first saw it. Anyone know how and when it got there?

									i think they use to keep a register in there..

									Yes the GATC years ago kept a journal in it but now it's in grown in the tree and they can't remove it. RED-DOG:cheers

									So the journal was just a few sheets of paper? Just the voice of reason coming out, regardless its still a cool thing that makes the trail unique.
