Place to stay? - Appalachian Trail

So I’m back in the U.S. and on a cross country Greyhound tour visiting hiker friends before I go back to Holland. To my regret I basically have nobody between Washington state and Washington DC. I’m wondering if there are any hikers interested in offering a place to stay in exchange for a slideshow (CDT, AT, Nepal) or just any information that I can give about hiking the triple crown. I mean that must be worth something, right?

I’m sort of limited to Greyhound accessible towns but I guess it’s worth a try to see if I can break up that long stretch across the states. I’m leaving Washington to head east around December 8/9 and should be in DC December 17th.

Keeping my fingers crossed…

Hey Apple Pie, congrats on your summit (I finished the same day as you on the Big K) and know that you can crash at my place anytime in Park City, Utah. Anything you need, let me know! Look forward to hearing from you…

Hi Apple Pie, got your e-mail sorry I haven’t replied. I am north of New York City in CT so thought you wouldn’t be able to stop in as you were going to DC. If you change your mind and come this way please contact me. The best to you. socks
P.S. tell the troll family hi from me.

Thanks for the offers on forum and off forum. It looks like I’ll stop over in Utah and Kansas City. That will help me break up the trip a bit. When I get closer to the East Coast I’ll see how much time is left on my bus pass and maybe I’ll go up to NY or CT too.

Thanks again!!!
