Hi everyone. I am planning a thru hike for 2017. My dream is to thru hike the A.T., but I have 3 children and I couldn’t leave them for 5-6 months, or my job! My hubby gave me his blessing and my work gave me a leave of absence for 6 weeks.
I would like to hear from those who have completed this trail. How long did it take you? When did you start and finish? I’m torn between this trail and the CT.

I leave on 08/15 southbound from Tuolomne, I plan to hit Whitney on 08/31. I will give you some feedback shortly after

The Colorado Trail would be awesome. Have you also considered the Long Trail in Vermont? That is very doable in less than 6 weeks.
