I am looking for a couple good journals written that my wife and I can read–preferrably written between '00-'03–must be a couple. Can ya’ll suggest a well-written one or two?
thanks.

Go there and look for people with more than 100 posts and two names.

Comer & Jean 2001. I followed this couple’S journal as they made their hike in 2001. I reread their journal again this year. Its well written and and lots of good pictures.

Jan Liteshoe from this year has one of the best journals I have read. I also enjoyed reading Spur’s journals from a couple of years ago. My all time favorite journal was written years ago. Its called “Then the Hail Came” by George Stephanos. Type it in your search engine, its well worth the effort.

Are you looking for a couple of journals to read or some journals to read that couples wrote? :oh

So now we’re “lighthearted”?. Getting so past hike makes me feel old. I’m missing a donut…I wasn’t through thru hiking yet! Yogi journals all. She’s so hard core.:tongue I want to thank all my friends and family for giving me this trophy…wait?? that was another trip, sorry- sniff- Freakshow has left the building and Barbi has gone shopping, again. I would also recommmend that book by Bill BrysonDUCK!! Saw that one comming…I still kill me:D

Try Jitterbug & Presto from 2002. They are a couple and they alternate writing, both you and your wife will enjoy it.

If you read Mr Wizard at the same time (he hiked with them for an extended period of time) you can see different perspectives of the same place/event.

As you can tell, my fruit cake husband didn’t write much of our journal. He’s not allowed to touch the pocketmail. He has enough problems just trying not to hurt himself and spending time making his trade-mark trail food. Good luck K+L

Very enjoyable read. She has 2 journals. One from I believe 2001, where she was injured and had to leave the trail. Her second journal was in 2003 where she finished her hike. Wench (2003) also, very good.
