Trail angels, yes. (We’ll assume they’re reading.) Public transportation, no. Greyhound used to make a run along US 60, but no longer. Arizona Value Shuttle, a private courier service based in Apache Junction, once quoted me a rate for a pickup in Superior, but in recent years has said they don’t service that town. Perhaps you could negotiate some arrangement with them, though. And of course I’m sure you’ll find a taxi service of some sort in the Phoenix metro that would be more than happy to travel that distance for a princely sum. Otherwise, almost all traffic heading west goes at least to Apache Junction.

“Courier service” - wrong choice of words. I mean glorified taxi, basically. AVS is mainly focused on runs between the airport and greater Phoenix metro area, and offers a competitive rate over Yellow Cab, etc., especially for longer trips within this coverage area.
