I have used a Canyonlands tent now for several years and love it. Will more than likely carry it with me on my thru next year. But keep thinking it would sure be nice if it where a little lighter. The rain fly on this tent is heavy and I was thinking about making a new one out of silnylon. This would cut almost a pound off the total weight.
Anyone out there have any thoughts on this or better ideas?
