I went to the local outfitters “just to see what they had” and saw a GoLite Clarity for 35% off! Of course, there was only one left, so I had to grab it. :tongue

$65, 12oz, waterproof/breathable, taped seams, etc. Almost got the 2.5oz windshirt, too, but figured if I was already carrying the rain jacket, I wouldn’t need both. Can’t wait to go hiking and not need it!

Helly Hansen is a brand I see a lot of folks using in Alaska.Doesn’t have a cool name like some boutique type stuff but is tougher than nails and when it says waterproof it is really waterproof.
