Actually I was seeing wildflower blooms 2 weeks ago in the local mountains. By mid Apr we should be in full bloom. Time to plan another trip.

I remember a monsoon in Feb - March when I was stationed in Santa Ana. The song was relatively new then and MAN IT POURED. The Santa Ana wind was even worse because it was so hot for a few weeks. I can only guess what it would be like on the PCT in the desert.
