I’ll be beginning July 19thish with a friend but will be solo from Muir Ranch to Whitney. Wouldn’t mind a hiking buddy! Shoot me an email if you’re interested!

Hey everyone one,not a teacher but have the ed degree. Just never went into the field. Anyways, I have a permit with two additional open vacancies starting from Toulumne/Lyell Canyon on July 29th and finishing at Whitney Portal. The two others cannot go now so there is two available spots. I completed the trail in in 2007 from the Valley and would like to advoid the crowds this time around. Planning on a day off/resupply in Mammoth Lakes as well as a resupply at either VVR or Muir Ranch. Hoping to complete the walk in 16ish days.
