Man, as I sit here in Glenclif and watch the snow melt and the rain come down I am going nuts!

I await for the gear to arrive and for me to get to Campo.

I am going nuts!
Snow be damned, and yeah, it continues to snow out there in the Sierras, but I am so ready to hike I can not even put it into words!

I got Yogis book, cool to see a lot of hikers I know throwing out info, and it is a good read and the Section 2 part is great, I dont see why I would even need the data book…but I digress…

I WANNA HIKE!!!

hey its feral from 03 See u at the kick off I’m headin to North Carolina for a few weeks of shakedown on the At and then arriving in Campo a few weeks early to knock off a few miles. Anyone else from the class of 03 going to be out there? See u on the trail :pimp

Cool man, I am hoping to be out there soon…if things work out that way, I would like to start WAY early, but I wont get my gear until late this week, then I haev to deal with driving South to GA to see family and set up my money order drops, etc…lots of snow out there already. weeeeeeeee.

I may not make the kickoff, it depends on something else that will force me to start a week later.

Either I will start mid April, or the firts of MAy. so basically I will miss the kickoff, or I will be able to hitch bakc, depends on the other ‘stiuation’.

i am from 03 too. don’t know if i met you feral? i am planning to try the kick off. can’t wait to hike.

Now chewing on my numby fingers…ummmmmm fleshy goodness.

I am reading and re-reading Guidebooks and journals and looking at pictures and man…I probably will be out behind the herd, I am begining to think it would be better to start a week after kickoff, as the Sierras are still getting pounded. A news report last night said a lot of the roads would be closed for at least 6 more weeks, thats awesome!

At least we will see some cool snow covered ‘hills’ hee hee.
