Please direct me to a recommended SOBO AT hiker’s journal from this year or year’s past. I would especially love one who started in June/Julyish.
Someday I will get there…afer some though I believe I would take a year off from teaching. That way I can leave once one school year is complete, then when I am done with the trail travel and rest until the following school year starts up.

Not Stumpknocker’s.
Why? I could be wrong, I’ve read some of his but I never saw for Stumpknocker a beginning and an end. To me that wouldn’t give a true feel of what it’s like to hit the trail in Maine and hike it through to Georgia.
