what a waste of great scenery. Thats my opinion. The only thing you will take away from it is a record and the only thing you leave is a footprint that will wash away at the next rain.

I was just spinning some Bing on the 'ol Victrola whilst house cleaning. You’re right, its lost some color after all those plays. Sort of scratched. But, hey, he can still buh buh buhbuh buh. Records are cool, man, daddy-o.

Yeah, I was checking out some classic Tony Bennett LPs on Amazon and Ebay. You can get albums in good or very good condition for under $15 … I wish I still had a record player. Can’t beat I Left My Heart in San Francisco on vinyl.

I met a guy “Whiskers” outside of Duncannon, PA, we talked music for the night. He just mailed me 6 albums from his collection.

I’ve got a ton of big band stuff and parade numbers. We should get together. A few of those groovy western themed types. “I had to shoot my horse, then I got chiggers”. Great stuff. If you played them to an MP3 recorder you could get them to your Ipod.

Was the original post about vinyl records? I think not. But nonetheless, I will go ahead and jump at the opportunity. My husband runs this website: www.lovevinylrecords.com And while we specialize in dance music (modern) we also have a lot of classic stuff.

BTW… it does sound better on wax than mp3 ANYDAY… unless you scratched the heck out of your record.
