Report to moderator

Lately, the ability to report a posting that is inappropriate to the moderator has not worked for me. Is it my computer or is there a bug on the site?

Thanks!

Why would someone get upset and make the trouble of reporting it to the moderator?
Free Speech Act? Why would you even care ratherbehiking about nonsense?
But, if you were driving home from work and an accident just happened. i bet you would slow down just enough to see if anyone were dead or if there was blood on the ground.
But freedom of speech? Damn…I’m going to be a pussy and report people.
Like what Greg said, go take a hike and stop worrying.

What is this world coming to?

Ratherbehiking is concerned about reporting it because it is vulgar, obscene, ignorant and it runs contrary to the well defined guidlines about this site. Now I guess everyone will take shots at me. So be it. This site is about sharing thoughts about hiking. Not trying to showcase ones intelligence or lack of it.

I do not worry over anything! I merely want to be able to report items such as what Moon Man said. Yes I have reported obvious spams and vulgarities on here. I think it would help the moderators if we all did that.

If you have an active trailforums cookie the report to moderator link will become active. If you deleted/reset your cookie the report to moderator link becomes inactive.

I’ve had the same problem with the R2m option. How do I know if I have an active trailforums cookie because I can’t get it to work now but have been able to use it in the past.

I want to be able to use it because I agree with moon man, there has been some really gross stuff on here lately.

I agree strongly with Moonman, markv, ratherbehiking…as the trail is an encouraging, positive place this site should be also. The name calling, insults are juvenile. If you like the bad words and insults please go to a chat sights with such nonsense. Please keep the forum with good advice, encouragement, factual without insults…otherwise it makes for a sad atmosphere. :bawling

Not sure that I did anything different now but the rtm link is now working. By the way, I am a guy so no panties here…

I didn’t really think this topic would strike a chord with some out there. However, I stand by the fact that this is a site for hiking and related issues. If I come across something I find objectionable and/or not within the confines of what this site is for, I will report it and then let the owners of the site decide.

By the way, I have decided on a start date for my thru…rbh ga-me 4/18/12 - ???

Have a great day everyone! Including those who disagree with me.
