Results of finding Missing Inchworm?

In the end of May, I read that a search party was being organized in looking for clues for Inchworm in Maine. Can anyone point me to results of that search? Perhaps there is a website?? Did anyone find any clues?

									Here's a link I copied from WhiteBlaze.net

http://www.brentwoodhomepage.com/-at...4#.U4UA39y0Zg2 The article is from 5/27/14. There were two articles. I believe Mike Wingeart and ALDHA were responsible for renewing the search last week.

Part 2 published 5/28. http://www.brentwoodhomepage.com/bhp...9#.U4Yz9Ny0Zg0 Now this may be much from last year. That’s all I could find there, and I don’t know how the weather was. I do keep checking White Blaze to see if anything new is posted. So very bizarre and sad.

									At Lady Di,

Thank you for the information. I took it one step further, and sent out a couple of emails. This is the reply and results I received about Inchworm:

My message from: Michael D. Wingeart
“Wing-Heart”

Sorry to say we did not find her or any of her belongings.

We had two teams of five searching the Crockers and nothing . We were able to sweep the AT and out about 20 to 40 yards on each side.

On the last day we searched “Point Last Seen”, Popular Ridge Shelter and down to Oberton Stream.

With what the Maine Wardens searched last year, and what we searched this year, the AT has been searched from that shelter to route 27 out 20 to 40 yards and she is not there.

We did not encounter much snow, no black flies, and it wasn’t too green and the ferns were not up yet so we had good site lines between the searchers.

The bonds formed during this search will last a lifetime and there is a general feeling that ALDHA will have and train a Search and Rescue Team for situations like this one.

Thanks for your interest and concerns,

We will have more on the search in the ALDHA Newsletter and the Brentwood Homepage sent a reporter, Jessica Pace, to search and cover the story.

@Brownie, Thanks for finding and posting more information. The links I listed above are from Jessica Pace (you have to copy and paste them) I belong to ALDHA so will read more about the efforts. Unfortunately at this point, I along with many others suspect foul play. :(

The links I posted 6/5 don't seem to work, but should take you to the Brentwood Homepage and a place to type in "Gerry Largay". There you will find the latest articles and even a video about the recent search.

I found it worth reading…perhaps you will too. :oh
