I will be hiking from Daleville with a friend that does not hitch hike. On my 2006 thru we hitched into Glasgow to resupply. Does anyone know where we can resupply without hitching in that area?

This year, my first stop north of Daleville was the general store in Montbello, about 2 miles off trail. We stopped at the Dutch Haus B&B for a night, so the walk was worth it, and Earl will drive you about a mile back to a trailhead the next day. I think the food load from Daleville, nearly 100 miles, was the second-largest on my hike, second only to the Hundred Mile Wilderness. And my first hitch was in Manchester Center, VT–I wasn’t worried about hitching, it was kind of a game to see how far I could get without doing it. So I was willing to carry extra food as part of that game.
