Ride around the Oracle/Superior/RL Area

Hello,
My boyfriend is doing a through hike with a partner, I couldn’t join them because of school, but I am trying to figure out the logistics of meeting up with them for my spring break.

The tentative plan is this (depending on how fast they end up hiking in the next week):
March 10th or 11th, I would meet them in Oracle.
March 17th or 18th, we would arrive in Superior.
March 20th or 21st, we would arrive in Roosevelt Lake.
My dream scenario would be to find a ride to Oracle from Roosevelt Lake, so I could meet my car there when I’m done hiking. I would need a ride the 10th or 11th.

It would also work if I could find somebody willing to drive me from Roosevelt Lake to Oracle on the 20th or 21st, or even from Oracle to Superior on the 10th or 11th or Superior to Oracle on the 17th or 18th. I’m so sorry to post such a huge and complicated message, I am just hoping to find somebody that can fit me into their schedule! I would definitely pay for gas and buy you lunch!
Also, if any hikers are needing a ride or something in the Flagstaff area I am definitely willing to help them out.
Thanks so much for reading my gigantic post!

Hey are you a NAU student? I’m a PRM major here. Though the hiking club here seems to do more social events like parties and trips to Vegas, some of us still get out and do cool things. I just snowshoed up Agassiz Peak in our blizzard last week and skied down. I think it would be cool to try to get some hikers from NAU together to do a week long trip on the AZT this spring break. Though I need to be in class 9 AM on the 20th.

Look up the NAU hiking club Facebook page, and try to come out to some of our activities, or lead a hike in the general area if you know some good trails.

I do go to NAU! I was in contact with the hiking club somewhat, but like you said, they tend to go on trips I’m not so interested in.

I don’t think I’d be too comfortable leading a hike on the AZT, as I definitely don’t know that area. Also Brandon and Stephan are doing a ridiculously fast pace that will be challenging for me to keep up with, so I don’t want to ask anybody else to try to keep up with them.

I am keeping track of NAUHC on facebook though, and if they do any cool hikes anytime soon I’d definitely be down to join! Thanks
