I’m a PCT hiker looking to get back on the trail tonight or tomorrow after having to come home to the SF Valley area due to a pet emergency last week. My bus came late today and I missed the train to Lancaster where I’d have transferred to the Crest Bus to get to Independence. So now I need a ride to Independence (California)- today/tonight–anytime from the LA area (San Fernando Valley/Santa Clarita is closest but I’m willing to travel all the way to Lancaster for a ride tonight). Tomorrow works as well, (if I have no choice). I just realllly don’t want to wait until Weds!! Also, transfering on so many different buses and trains to get there is such a pain in the behind anyway!!
So name your price (but prefer a shared ride for free or half the gas, or fair!)
Again-I don’t want to wait for the Crest bus on Weds- I really want to get to the area tonight. Don’t care what time I get there. 2am-great. Tomorrow, fine as well, but prefer tonight.
It’s a long ride from the SF Valley/LA area I know, which is why I am hoping to catch a ride with someone already on the way to
either Bishop, Mammoth Lakes, Lone Pine, Owens Valley area along the 395. Maybe even Yosemite.
