Well I talked to “Sunset” and we decided to do the Long Trail before we do the Potomac NST. So we are looking for a ride to the trail head(NE of North Troy, VT. We are looking at taking the train to Montpelier, VT. If anyone knows of a service or would like to offer a ride, please contact me.

If you can make it the long trail inn on RT 4 just south of the shelburn pass it is quite possible to pick up a ride from a local patron at the bar. There is bus service to the inn. Good luck.:cheers
