After a few interruptions in my NoBo hike this year (passing a kidney stone and seperating from my wife… yup, ouch x 2), I’ve decided to SoBo instead. I’ll gladly split gas costs etc if anyone is headed that way. I’m in the Asheville NC area at the moment, but will gladly thumb a few hundred miles any direction for a ride to Maine. My intention is to make Greyhound my absolute last resort and airline fares are out of my budget. Thanks for your time and consideration!

Having been through both I know what you have gone through. At least when the kidney stone left it didn’t take any of your stuff. I can’t help you get out of the south but if you can make it to NH I think I can get you to Baxter.
