Ride to trailhead

Hi everyone - I’m planning on thru-hiking the CT this summer, starting July 1st and am trying to figure out how to get to the Waterton Canyon trailhead. Anyone know of people who may be willing to provide a shuttle? Thanks!

Trail Guy gave rides last year from the littleton train station. Not sure if he will again this year.

Just in case you don’t find one, here’s how to get to the trailhead via public transport:
-Airport bus “Skyride” to downtown. (10$)
-Train to littleton station (2$)
-Taxi to trail head (20$)

Use to be a commuter bus that would go from littleton to the Lockheed Martin plant next to Waterton

RTD bus 63X from Mineral Station to Waterton Rd / Lockheed indeed cancelled. Bummer. Might contact CTF for list of shuttle folks.

I would be willing to shuttle to the Waterton Canyon trailhead from Denver International Airport for the cost of gas. Bear in mind it is a 100 mile round trip for me. I have Thru-hiked the trail and live in Centennial Colorado. Also depends on scheduling. E-mail me.

Didn’t get to finish last year, so I might take you up on that woofer! I wouldn’t mind meeting at the mineral train station though, I can still cover gas and it saves you an afternoon of driving

Thanks Woofer, though same as Andrew I’d be from the Littleton Mineral station as spending a couple of days in Denver first. I’ll email you later.

Andrew - what’s your planned start date? I’m aiming for July 1st.
