Road to Hart's Pass

I am planning to hike from Harts Pass to the Canadian border soon. The plan was to have my dad drop me off at the pass, but he is concerned that the road to the pass is not safe/good enough for a rental car. Anyone with experience with this road?

An alternative to driving up to the pass would be for me to hike up the West Fork Methow river trail to get to the PCT, but from my recollection it was at least 10 miles before this trail hits the PCT.

Road seemed fine when I took it, there was a ton of normal cars up there. Hey what’s the best off road vehicle of all time? Any rental!:lol

The road should be fine like Guino said. There’s a camp ground right there so you know all kinds of city folk drive their fancy cars, ****ty cars, and half dead cars up there.
Put the rental through the ringer and go for it.
