Question about trail records, in general
I too am impressed and also understand from many that Scott is a very kind and friendly guy – we need more of those folks.
Here’s my question: like every other activity from long distance running to lawn bowling, the hiking community seems to be developing various “records.” I belive there are fastest-time records for all the long trails, some records for oldest and youngest hikers, Brian Robinson’s single-year Triple Crown, and of course Scott’s amazing ahievement. Is this information recorded anywhere? Is there anyone who has become the recognized keeper of the books for these friendly competitions?
