Hey all, I’m thinking of sending myself a resupply to Roosevelt Lake area, there are a couple of options, what have people done in the past? Is there a better option for where to send packages?

We mailed many boxes (2 pairs of shoes, resupply, new tyvek)to Roosevelt Lake Marina. Workers were very nice but we had to keep telling them “more packages”. Store was beer and chips, the bar had a bbq going if you had your own meat and buns. There was supposed to be a shower but we couldn’t find the keeper of the key. We hitched a boatride to camping which was cool but we had to walk a looong way back to the trail. The whole stop was a kind of marina adventure.
If you find more options post here.
Have a good hike!

If you end up there on a weekend, we could help with a pickup and a drive into superior from Roosevelt, or if you can make it across Four Peaks to Rt 87, we could give you a ride to our place and a shower! We have to work during the week, but will do what we can to help. We have been section hiking it, so understand the challenges!
Marcia - if you and Ken get to Falcon Field on Sunday instead of Monday, we could give you a ride to First Water for the start of the GET.

The marina folks are friendly and hold maildrops.
I hit there at the end of spring break week and got to live on corn beef hash and raw flour until Pine. 2 dollars per snickers was out of my price range. The restaurant was closed. You will probably have better luck.
Apparently there is a fully stocked grocery a 7 miles hitch down the highway. The visitor’s center has a cool animal and Salado display and can tell you which way to the grocery.
