San Jacinto Weather

I was hiking in the San Jacintos this afternoon. The high country had a decent amount of snow. Near the summit of Tahquitz there were some areas with heavy snow. Reports are calling for rain in Idyllwild and snow in the high country. Good luck to all the thru-hikers out there.

Summited Jacinto a few days ago and descented the fuller ridge area. would not recommend any passing unless you have an ice axe, and crampons would be a great help too. Or it may be you last hike :slight_smile:
