After spending the month of July on the Vermont long trail I have decided to begin section hiking the Appalachian. I'm luck enough to have a job where I work 30days on a 30 days off so i figure if I plan it right I could walk every step in one calendar year. I'll probley do some flip flops and jumping around so that I'm down south in the winter and on the northern sections during the summer. Look forward to meeting more of y'all out on the trail,

Hey Squireel, I sectioned hiked from Springer to Erwin last year and from Erwin to Daleville this year using my vacation time and loved it. Hope to see you out there. You can read my journal.
