How is this year shaping up for weather on the CT? I am looking at hiking the Denver Waterton section up to maybe section 18. I will have 3 weeks to hike. Hike will begin on September 15th. I hiked in late September 2012 the same section, getting off the trail at Buena Vista, and experienced fresh snowpack in the higher elevations of section 13. Was 2012 a more wet year than 2016?
