Does anyone know if the end of segment 8 crosses highway 24? Or if there is an easy way to split from a group at the end of segment 8?

Segment 8 crosses US Hwy 24 then returns to Hwy 24, ending at Tennessee Pass. This is the recommended location for hitching into Leadville.
