I am looking to hire help to do hikes along the AT or other trails. Location can include anywhere, but in the US to start would be preferred.
I have lots of experience hiking. I have completed 400mi and 6 weeks solo on the AT before. I was doing a thru hike and broke my foot so I had to quit.
After a long life of sports I am unable to carry heavy loads. I can still hike strong. I currently live in Golden, CO
I am sending out feelers to see if there is a service or team that could carry the load, setup up camp, break down, and cool where needed. I would be there to help, but the expectation would be to support the adventures.
I know this is not an inexpensive thing I am asking for, especially if multiple people are involved. Please do not assume I can’t afford the trip. I am asking if it can be done.
I am also very open to horse/mule/lama trips if human power is too difficult.
Trip duration can be 7 days - 30day.
Maybe a full 6mo AT trip if the right crew is found.
