I just finished my for weeks hike on the AT, I had good nylon hiking shorts w/mesh liner with 4 pockets in the front and none in back and they worker good but…
Looking for a higher waisted shorts, maybe even with suspenders that would help them from pack waist belt pushing them down, also might protect my bony shoulders, they need to be nylon or a quick drying material.
