Shuttle needed - The Colorado Trail

Hi. I’ll be thru-hiking the CT with my dog this summer and am in need of 2 shuttles:

  1. A friend and I will be starting at the Indian Creek Trailhead and hiking to Bailey. Then she will be leaving from Bailey and driving home and I’ll be continuing on. So we’d leave our car at Bailey and need a shuttle from Bailey to the start at Indian Creek Trailhead for two adults and two dogs (one dog is large) on July 4 or 5.

  2. I’ll be flying out of Colorado Springs when I’m finished and need a way to get from Durango to CO Springs somewhere in the middle of August. My dog will be shipped separately so the shuttle would just be for me.

Would anyone be available/willing to provide shuttles or point me towards other leads for shuttles?

#1 is taken care of. I’m still needing a way to get from Durango to CO Springs if anyone knows of a way.

Greyhound has a bus that goes that way. Cost is around $120. You would have to take a cab to the airport in Colorado Springs. One of the motels might have a shuttle if you are staying overnight.

If you can just as easily fly in and out of Denver, Greyhound from Durango to Denver takes less time (about 14 hours) and costs about $74 instead of $120. It may also make it easier for the start.
