Shuttle Offer - The Colorado Trail

Additional offer to my previous post. If anyone would like a shuttle from DIA to the trailhead, or to the SW quadrant of Denver, I am making a standing offer to pick you up at the airport for a reasonable fee of $50. Please keep in mind that it is about a 100 mile round trip for me, and easily consumes 2 hours. I will need about a month’s notice, to make sure that I am going to be in town. It will be one flat fee for as many hikers as I can fit in a Subaru Outback Wagon.

As in years past, I don’t charge a fee if you just need shuttle assistance in the Southern part of town. I’m a CT fan, and my motive is simply to make it a little easier logistically for those of you coming from out of town to enjoy this fine natural asset as much as I have. It’s the least I can do.

Hike on,

Obviously, just email me if interested in the above, and we can exchange phone numbers, and get everything set up.

I’m a Denver resident and can say what TrailGuy is offering is a great deal for potential hikers. $50 all the way from DIA to the trailhead represents a real discount in cost and logistics you’d otherwise have to deal with.

I’ve known people who’ve been fortunate enough to use TG in the past for shuttles. Everyone has had wonderful things to say.

He’s been doing shuttles for about 5 yrs now and more than a few CT hikers have been able to get to Waterton Canyon because of TG’s generosity. One of the many selfless people who make long distance hiking just a little bit easier.

Thanks TrailGuy!

Guy - your offer to the community is much appreciated. I’ve just sent you an email regarding a potential ride in June 2010.

Thanks!
