Depending upon your trip specifics, I may be available for shuttles into/out of Pagosa Springs. Drop me a line and let’s see. If your prefer to go the professional route, I’m sure Rocky Mountain Transportation will haul you around. I think Jeff charges $55 for a shuttle to Wolf Creek, and with a bit of extrapolation, I suspect about $100 for a ride to Cumbress Pass. He can also pick you up in Durango if you’re flying into town and save you the cost of a rental.

Two years ago I hiked that section. I left my vehicle at Cumbress Pass (behind the train station) and hitchhiked to Wolf Creek. Took 4 hitches and about 3-4 hours, this was at the end of August.

What is the contact info for Rocky Mountain Transportation? We’re looking for a ride from Durango to Wolf Creek Pass tomorrow and can’t get a hold of the guy we used last time.
Thanks
Aaron
I understand that Rocky Mountain Transportation (formerly Missy B’s Shuttle) is out of business. I just tried to call and his number has been disconnected.

Thanks for the offer and info. We finally got in touch with our usual contact at Wolf Creek Outfitters late in the day 7/23. Just exited the Weminuche on 7/31 and it was wet wet wet! It rained 6 of the 8 days and hailed on us a few times.
