You can fly into Reno and get on the CREST bus which is part of the Eastern Sierra transit. It leaves the Reno airport at 11:45 every day get off at Lee Vining ($18.00) and Hitch Hike over Tioga Pass (tons of cars) into Yosemite. You could also take it all the way to Lone Pine on the southern end by Whitney Portal for 30 bucks. Google C.R.E.S.T. bus. This doesnt run on weekends and one week day, I think Tuesday not sure.

I don’t know your exact situation, but while I was out there I hitched in and out of Mammoth, Independence and Lone Pine without any troubles. The longest wait was 5 minutes and everyone was very gracious.
