									What ever happened to backpacking? I thought doing the AT was a back packing trip? A few slack packs now and again but from the git go?

									You can get a slack pack from many, many people at the start of your hike, in the middle of your hike or the end of your hike. Compare prices. Go to the ATC website and find Getting to the Trail and then the AT Shuttle List.

									Jack - I think the idea is that you're met at road crossings each night. How that works in the 100 Mile Wilderness is beyond me. Not sure I want to know either.
