I've been watching the weather along the southern AT since December. While there has been a good bit of cold weather, there does not seem to be a lot of snow. How does this winter's snowfall in the Smokies are southern AT in general compare with a normal year?

not much snow up that way but its going to be bitter cold im afraid . for the whole winter the way its going if you plan on going have some good winter gear its going to be way below nomal.some nights below zero! when artic cold fronts come through and we have been haveing one after another here lately. so be prepaired!!
