Am planning on a sobo thru around July 20. My first attempted thru. I am a relatively old guy of 56 and am curious as to who might on the trail about then.

I will be starting around July 1st also going south. This will be my first attempt as well. I am 23 and I will be maybe a week ahead of you.

Randy - I’m 55 and will be headed out of Denver (solo) at the end of June (30th). Jimmy - hope to see you on the trail! From the journals I’ve read, July seems to be a good month on the CT - afternoon thunderstorms inevitable, water available, but relatively scarce.
