I’m looking for a low cut lightweight pair of socks to wear with trail running shoes. Anyone have some suggestions?

They’re not low-cut, but the 99% nylon, 1% spandex socks sold at Wal-Mart (the brand is Puritan) work great with trail running shoes. This is assuming, of course, you aren’t looking for a “padded,” warmer pair of socks like the ones POPPIE mentioned. The advantage is the Wal-Mart socks keep your feet as cool and dry as is possible, are extremely light, and dry quickly. Again, I know they’re not low-cut, but I always wear mine rolled down as I prefer low-cut socks, too.

…the Wal-Mart socks are cheap – $3.74 (plus tax) for a three-pack.

Thanks Poppie & Ozone. I just picked up a pair of Smartwool Adrenaline - Mini Crew’s. They seem pretty nice and comfy. They should work well with my Montrail Vitesse’s.
