Most years there is little or no snow at that time of year but remember you do climb twice up to pretty high areas. In section a you will not have to much of a problem as you could switch to the road for a few miles. Section b gets up higher and harder to get around by road…

hello, all. it looks like i’m going to hike section A in January now. i am curious about the Laguna mountains, and the amount of snow that i may encounter. Meadow Ed, you mentioned something about a possible road detour; what is it specifically? thanks.
