Sports bra's - Pacific Crest Trail

hello fellow hiking women. i am trying to decide the best support to wear during a PCT thruhike this summer. Both sweat/rash are a concern. Also, i am fairly big chested and it would be too painful to go fancy free. Any suggestions of brand and or material to go with for the duration?
Thanks for you input.

I hiked the PCT in '07 wearing Under Armour, which has no cotton and dries quickly. I found this brand to be fairly comfortable being of more generous proportions myself. Good luck and have a great hike!

I have had some similar problems finding proper support… I did however find amazing bras from Patagonia its their Women’s Active Mesh Bra.

The description is this:
“Get the Patagonia Women’s Active Mesh Bra for all of your summertime activities. This comfortable sport bra wicks perspiration away from your skin so you stay dry and cool during summer hikes or heated yoga sessions. Stretchy fabric and seamless construction let you move without restriction while supportive V-shaped straps stay put. Patagonia made the Active Mesh Bra so it could be worn alone or as a foundation layer in any weather.”

It’s a bit thicker but that gives you the support if you are bigger chested. The price may be a bit high ($35) but I got mine at an outlet for $13 bucks each. They are so comfortable I would highly recommend them!

Seamless and TAGLESS is the key, cutting the tag out dosn’t work. Some companys such as north face have this figured out and just print the washing label directly on the garmet. Nothing much worse then looking at the next blazing-
hot-12miles-uphill section of trail with 25lbs. or so of sweaty pack monster riding on a compleatly preventable case of TAG RASH!!!
