Anybody use these products? Do they work to prevent blisters? Do they work to prevent chaffing? Any tips on how often to use, how much to apply? Do they work when your feet are wet?

Hello,
As a Triathlete and Adventure racer I can tell you, without a doubt, that these products DO work.
Sportslick the BEST product out there for your feet, especially if you are going to be walking around with wet feet. It lasts at least 8 hours, apply it generously to feet and toes. I live in Florida and have raced for up to 70 hours at a time in the swamps, using sportslick I never had a blister or skin peeling off as some racers have experienced.
Bodyglide is great for all around lube, for areas like where your straps rub up against your neck and stuff like that.
Haven’t used Hydropel yet.
I will be sure to have my tube of sportslick with me for my section hike this summer.

Never used bodyglide on hikes, but have used it on long runs.
Mainly use it for chafing in between the the thighs (aka chub rub
). Find it works well.

Bodyglide works and will help to prevent chafing and blisters. Haven’t used hydropel or sport stick but did hear an unsolicited testimonial for the benefits of Hydropel a few days ago quite similar to the one Willow gave Sportstick above, especially regarding its durability.

Sportslick is dope! Although it is not “roll on” like Bodyglide, it does stay on until washed off. I/we always have some with us hiking, mountain biking, tri’s and adventure races. It squeezes out of a tube, finger applied, so it requires some hand washing after application but at least you won’t be rubbing the “roll-on” on your feet and then “rolling” it on your crotch! :cheers
