Spring break hike

I’m planning to go hiking over my college spring break I’m looking to spend between 3 and 5 days backpacks and tents only no lodging. I think I want to go to the smoky mountains but I would like some good recommendations. My girlfriend is coming also so I would lime a very scenic hike full of great mountain views, waterfalls and wild life. We are not beginners and can handle it all I would appreciate any incite and advice

You can create your own loop hike in the Smokies. Try the web site for info.
The AT section that includes Max Patch is real pretty, full of views, but no waterfalls. You can start at Hot Springs and go south to Old Waterville School Rd. Call Curtis at Standing Bear Hostel for a ride, you can leave your car at his place and even stay there. Nice, but rustic. You can also get lots of rides in Hot Springs, check with the outfitters. It’s a great town with lots of good food.
