Anyone starting next week? I will be arriving in Gainsville on Wednesday and was just wondering if there was going to be a big group starting this weekend or on Monday. Also does anyone know any reasonable price for transportation from the Gainsville bus station to Springer. Thanks for the info.

I’ll be arriving in Atlanta next Wednesday (17th) and plan to go up the approach trail next Thu.
We’ll probably rent a car to get to the trail (my husband will be dropping me off). Gainesville is probably on the way, isn’t it?

I am arriving in Gainesville, GA on March 31st and have arranged for lodging at The Hikers Hostel in Dahlonega, GA where two Thru-hikers (2000) have opened up. They provide Pick-up, Lodging, Breakfast, and Transportation to the Trail.
