ive already been up the mist trail.im thinking of starting from glacier point and getting on the jmt at nevada falls.my question is what has nicer views.

If you have not been to Glacier Point, it has an incredible view of the valley. Also, the trail is mostly downhill, which is always nice. You follow the Panorama Trail which was named for obvious reasons. It joins the JMT at Clark Point which to me is the first really spectacular view on the JMT.
It is a little bit longer (5 vs. 3.3 miles) but makes a nice, less crowded alternative.
